The Field System catalogue covers structured investigative work, including claims, source records, chronology and review. Select a template appropriate to the question, record exact document locators and keep assumptions distinct from findings.
Case and evidence logs
Maintain case records, preserve the distinction between originals and working copies, and record source families and follow-up actions. Review and stress-test notes make unresolved questions visible rather than replacing a researcher’s judgment.
Exchange is edition-specific
The reviewed Field/ProofDesk exchange work concerns a specific private QA pair. Historical V71 Field and bundled ProofDesk 0.3.3 are not advertised as a universal automatic handoff. Check supported mappings and review transferred information.
Access and storage
The historical Field package is browser/offline software; device and customer delivery acceptance remain separate. Local work must be backed up and protected by the researcher. Field is not included in the two primary standalone offers.

Historical V71 and newer V86 private QA material are distinct. No new standalone price or downloadable replacement is approved on this page. The historic core bundle has its own terms and release gates.
